an African American man, to serve as her chauffeur. What begins as a troubled

In this new musical, directed and choreographed by Tony Award ®

and arrangements by Aaron Johnson and Antibalas,
audiences are welcomed into the extravagant, decadent and rebellious world of
Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti. Using his pioneering music, Fela! explores Kuti's controversial
life as artist, political activist and revolutionary musician. Featuring many
of Fela Kuti's most captivating songs and Bill T. Jones's imaginative staging,
this new show is a provocative hybrid of concert, dance and musical theater.

PROMISES, PROMISES
is a musical adaptation of Billy Wilder's popular film, "The Apartment," about
a corporate shlub named Chuck Baxter, who earns promotions by lending his pad
out to executives for sexual liaisons. Things get complicated when Chuck falls
for one of the office women, Fran, who is invited to the flat by an exec.

THE SCOTTSBORO
BOYS is based on the notorious "Scottsboro" case in the 1930s, where
nine African American men were unjustly accused of attacking two white women on
a train in Alabama. The young men were convicted by an all-white jury and spent
years in jail, while the case was tried and retried. In the tradition of their
classic musicals Cabaret and Chicago, Kander and Ebb explore
this dark chapter of American history in a daringly inventive and startling entertainment.
Sarah and James, a photo-journalist
and a journalist (LAURA LINNEY and
BRIAN D'ARCY JAMES), have been together for years and share a
passion for documenting the realities of war. But when circumstances compel them
to return home to New York and their circle of friends (ERIC BOGOSIAN

A love song to Hollywood's platoon flicks and to 1940s Broadway,
YANK! is a new musical set during World War II. The story begins with a young
man finding an old diary, through which we learn the story of a scared Midwestern
boy who gets drafted in 1943, who falls in love with another Private, a handsome
All-American boy. It chronicles their stories as well as the stories of other
men in their company. With a score inspired by the pop sounds of the 1940s, YANK!
captures the spirit and exuberance of the era as it explores questions of prejudice,
